This position involves direction of the operational, financial, and personnel activities of the College of Education and Organizational Leadership (CEOL) Curriculum Lab Programs at four campus locations: Central La Verne campus, Kern County campus, Central Coast campus, and Ventura campus.
Specific duties include:
-Supervise four employees (Curriculum Lab Assistant, Kern County Curriculum Lab Supervisor, Central Coast Curriculum Lab Supervisor, and Ventura Curriculum Lab Supervisor), providing support for their positions, conducting yearly reviews.
-Provide instructional support services to students pursuing degrees within the (CEOL), an average of 500 students per month.
-Provide oversight for instructional support services to off campus students pursuing CEOL degrees in three regional locations.
-Work collaboratively with Regional Campus Administration staff to coordinate personnel, budget, purchasing, and building resources at regional locations.
-Oversee and maintain four separate Curriculum Lab budgets, purchase of materials, and inventories.
-Travel to each regional location at least once per semester.
-Plan, develop, and implement Curriculum Labs as needed in regional campuses where Teacher Education programs are offered.
-Attend staff development sessions in order to gain knowledge of current curriculum and teacher education practices and resources.
-Attend monthly department meetings, monthly Teacher Education meetings, monthly Regional/Online Campus Administration meetings, and quarterly CEOL meetings.
-Other duties as assigned.
-Four year undergraduate degree.
-Experience with managing learning environments.
-Experience with managing resources, including budget, supply orders, record keeping, check out procedures, and accountability for instructional kits.
-Understanding of work place protocols.
-Strong interpersonal and professional relationship skills.
-Experience with adult learners.
-Master’s degree in education or related field.
