Detailed Job Description

Berklee seeks a Training and Documentation Analyst with a passion for helping others master systems and business processes to better serve students and faculty and continuously improve how we manage the administration of the institution. The ideal candidate will have experience summarizing complex business processes in easy to understand visual documentation as well as the patience and interpersonal skills to train a wide variety of clients in the use of various enterprise business systems. This role is critical to ensuring user acceptance of new or changing business processes as Berklee implements more modern systems and seeks to scale and expand the programs we offer and support.

The Training and Documentation Analyst documents business processes and trains administrative staff on new business processes and the use of supporting systems. The TDA partners with business analysts and operations managers across the institution to help them document business processes and train staff within their areas. The TDA partners with project managers and business analysts on strategic complex institution wide projects. The TDA develops technical training programs using appropriate training methods, multimedia, and course/curriculum materials.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4 years experience as a technical training, documentation specialist, or business Analyst
  • Higher Education Experience a plus
  • Experience with a broad range of business process and workflow documentation techniques (Howto documentation, swimlane diagrams, etc)
