This position manages and coordinates the day to day administrative functions and serves as the primary point of contact for several programs and projects at WSU North Puget Sound at Everett (WSU NPSE). This includes 1) Serving as the lead for the transition of the Everett University Center to the new WSU Everett building. This includes supervising the move, addressing departmental and partner needs and problem solving issues for faculty, staff and students and ongoing administration to ensure that academic programs are functioning smoothly. 2) Coordinating implementation of the plan and ongoing development and administration for the new medical campus at WSU NPSE including accreditation, implementation of the strategic plan, development of policies, procedures and processes related to the new medical campus, development of the medical campus budget and providing ongoing administrative support. 3) Coordinating development and the ongoing administration of the JC Dream research program at WSU North Puget Sound at Everett. This includes coordination of meetings, travel and events related to the program and serving as the liaison between Pullman and WSU NPSE. This position reports to the Senior Advisor to President Bernardo and provides high-level administrative support to the Senior Advisor. They must exercise independent judgement, have the ability to act independently under delegated authority, to ensure successful implementation of the above programs and projects.
A Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Three or more years of experience with project management work in higher education.
Demonstrated fiscal experience relating to budgeting.
Experience with administration of a medical campus.

WSU North Puget Sound at Everett is part of the Everett University Center, a WSU-managed consortium of seven universities offering more than 20 degree-completion programs on the Everett Community College campus. WSU NPSE offers upper-division courses leading to four high-demand bachelor’s degrees: electrical and mechanical engineering, hospitality business management, and integrated communication. In September, ground was broken at the future site of the Everett University Center, a four-story building to be constructed along the waterfront in downtown Everett. The 95,000-square-foot building is scheduled for completion in the spring 2017. WSU North Puget Sound at Everett was established in 2014. About 150 students are currently enrolled in courses the University offers.
