Under administrative direction, the Executive Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations serves as a development leader and integral team member in the University’s development team. As a member of the
Institutional development team, this position supervises the division’s corporation and foundation fundraising efforts, develops strategies for solicitation, oversees the grant applications, and establishes strong relationships with corporations and foundations.
Knowledge of fundraising concepts and appropriate solicitation techniques

Bachelor’s degree, supplemented with five to eight (5-8) years of related experience.
Develops and executes an annual operating plan with accountable monthly and quarterly monetary and activity goals; assures timely and accurate reporting of gift/grant usage and impact to corporate and foundation investors; collaborates with University leaders, Development, Deans and other academic leaders to identify funding priorities and build related cases for support targeted to corporate and/or foundation support
Maintains a dynamic portfolio of key corporate and foundation contacts and secure new levels of institutional support through grants, marketing/public relations/recruitment partnerships, sponsorships, and other charitable initiatives; writes, submits and tracks grant proposals for the Frost Campus
Develops initiates and cultivates relationships with corporations and foundations that lead to strategic partnerships and advance the mission, vision, and goals of the University
Prepares follow-up reports to corporations and foundations on the spending of grants to ensure future grant collaboration; collaborates with faculty and other development officers in discovering opportunities for possible grant funding
Participates in and utilizes the Network of Academic Corporate Relations Officers (NACRO) and Council for Development and Support Education (CASE) corporate & foundation conferences, networks, and resources
