The Department of Political Science at Miami University is searching for a Visiting Assistant Professor in International Relations, open with respect to subfield, but particularly interested in gender and International Relations, or conflict.
Expected to teach introductory course in World Politics, upper-level international law, and another advanced course which could include international organization, or a course in the area of specialty.
Ph.D. at the time of appointment in political science or a related field for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor; ABD for appointment as an Instructor.
Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, temporary resident (admitted for residence as an applicant under the 1986 immigration amnesty law), refugee or asylee.
Strong candidates will have independent teaching experience.
