SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

Assistant/Associate Professor - Accounting or Taxation. Two candidates to teach accounting information systems, cost accounting, financial accounting or auditing. Candidates for the accounting positions should have a Ph.D. in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution or be nearing the completion of such program and demonstrate the potential for teaching excellence and research productivity.
Assistant/Associate Professor - Accounting or Taxation. One candidate who will primarily teach taxation. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution or, alternatively, a JD/LLM in Taxation and demonstrate the potential for teaching excellence and research productivity.
Assistant/Associate Professor – Management. Candidates with expertise in the fields of management science, operations research and statistical analysis. Candidates should have an earned doctorate or an ABD near completion in Business from an AACSB-accredited school. Applicants must demonstrate excellence in teaching and research in their disciplines.
SCHOOL OF NURSING AND HEALTH SCIENCES

Assistant/Associate Professor – Nursing. Faculty position to coordinate and teach in the RN-MSN online nursing program. Candidates must have a master’s degree in nursing with an earned doctorate preferred in nursing or related field; university teaching and recent online teaching experience are preferred.
Assistant/Associate Professor – Nursing. Faculty position to teach obstetrical nursing and assessment in the undergraduate nursing program. Candidates must have a master’s degree in nursing with an earned doctorate preferred in nursing or related field; current relevant clinical experience required and university teaching experience preferred.
SCHOOL OF EDUCATION AND SOCIAL SCIENCES

Assistant Professor - Education. Candidates should hold a terminal degree in education and demonstrated expertise in the areas of multicultural education and teaching English Language Learners. Those with a background in literacy and/or urban education preferred. Candidates should possess teacher education certification and a TESOL or ESL endorsement. The successful candidate will have experience teaching in pre-k to grade 12 settings and evidence teaching excellence at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels, including the ability to direct dissertations and research.
SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Assistant Professor - Communication. Full-time faculty member will teach in one or more specializations in the undergraduate degree program, including advertising and converged media/journalism. A Ph.D. is required. Previous university teaching and industry experience strongly preferred.
Assistant Professor -Computer and Information Systems. Full-time faculty member will teach one or more of the following: enterprise systems, software quality assurance, information technology project management, cyber forensics, information security, competitive intelligence systems, computer networking and application programming. Candidates must have a doctoral degree in Management Information Systems, Information Systems, or Computer Information Systems. Previous university teaching and practical experience in computer information systems are preferred.
Assistant Professor - Organizational Leadership. Full-time faculty member will teach in the undergraduate and graduate Organizational Leadership degree programs. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership or a related discipline. Demonstrated excellence in distance learning delivery is required and professional and/or business experience is desirable.
SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING, MATHEMATICS, AND SCIENCE

Assistant Professor - Actuarial Science and Mathematics. Candidates should possess a doctorate in actuarial science, mathematics or statistics, and have teaching and research interests in Actuarial Science. Ideally, candidates will possess a professional actuarial qualification, or be well-advanced toward accreditation by the SOA or CAS. Industry experience will be given strong consideration. The successful candidate will teach and advise students in a “full- service” actuarial program, be capable of teaching a variety of courses covering the preliminary actuarial exam syllabi, and demonstrate the ability to maintain an active program of research and scholarship.
Assistant/Associate Professor - Mechanical Engineering. Candidates are sought in Mechanical Engineering with teaching and research interests in thermo-fluids, engineering mechanics, mechanics, system dynamics and controls, machine design, and computer-aided engineering and design. Candidates should expect to teach basic engineering courses and possess excellent experimental abilities along with appropriate analytical and computational skills. An earned PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline is required; industrial experience, a proven research record, and the ability to teach basic engineering courses are preferred.
Assistant/Associate Professor - General Engineering. Qualified candidates are sought in General Engineering with teaching and research interests in Introduction to Engineering, Engineering Design Graphics, Engineering Statistics, Engineering Materials, Statics and Strength of Materials, Circuits and Electromagnetics. These faculty members may also be expected to teach in biomedical, industrial/ manufacturing, and mechanical engineering programs. Excellent experimental abilities are necessary along with appropriate analytical and computational skills. An earned PhD in Engineering is required; industrial experience, a proven research record, and the ability to teach in multiple engineering courses listed above are preferred.
