Detailed Job Description

Under the direction of the Dean of Students, the Coordinator of Off Campus Housing coordinates a variety of activities and programs associated with student off campus housing, advises the Residential Engagement Coordinators, and assists with other related student issues and programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in a directly related field of study or a combination of education and experience totaling four years.

Knowledge

Knowledge of experiential learning, its theories, practices, procedures and techniques, including management and implementation.

Knowledge of university services.

Knowledge of liability issues dealing with experiential learning.

Knowledge and computer skills in word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets and other basic functions (email, internet, etc.)

Skills

Skills in development and coordination of event planning, engaged learning, including policy and procedures.

Skills in financial management, including the ability to develop and monitor budgets.

Supervisory skills and the ability to train employees, student leaders and staff operating programs.

Abilities

Ability to coordinate student participation in student related activities.

Ability to develop relationships on and off campus in support of programs.

Ability to market programs.

Ability to use standard office equipment (copier, fax machine, etc.)

Pay Range

$31,554 to $42,072
