Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College is seeking a learning-focused, creative and dynamic individual to teach Health Sciences at the WITC New Richmond Campus. An instructor’s primary purpose is to design instruction and assessment in an engaging environment to foster learner success. An instructor continually improves the overall quality in the delivery of learning to support the achievement of College outcomes and priorities utilizing evidence to support decision-making.

Job Description

Instructors work in alignment with the college’s mission, vision, core values, and operating principles. Instructors are expected to provide service to the college community exemplified by teamwork, committee involvement, and participation in shared leadership activities. In addition, instructors commit to ongoing professional growth in both instructional and technical areas, as well as the development of their colleagues and teams.

Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree in Life Science or related field with 18 graduate credits in life sciences, biology, bio-chemistry, chemistry, endocrinology, pathology, physiology, medicine, chiropractic, pharmacy, biotechnology, or a combination of credits in these disciplines. (Copies of official or unofficial college transcripts required.)
2. One year (2,000 hours) occupational experience (non-teaching) outside of education.
3. Previous teaching experience preferred.
4. Curriculum development experience preferred.
5. Experience with alternative instructional delivery (e.g. on-line, ITV) preferred.

Salary Hiring Range

Master’s
$50,753 – $59,976 annual
