Provides primary program and technical support for all CareerPassport Program participants. Schedules and performs daily participant check-in orientation appointments. Answers participant questions regarding program offerings, incentives, requirements, event registration, Canvas assignments, etc. Maintains Canvas portal for CareerPassport students participating in the Professional Engagement Track of the Engaged Learning University Distinction (ELUD. Updates content, grades reflection assignments, tracks participant progress and ELUD requirement completion, processes ELUD applications, and responds to questions and inquiries. Assists CareerPassport Team with specific duties for CareerPassport Lecture Series, Career Hot Topic” Series, networking events, and Engaged Learning Retreat. Assists with classroom presentations, hallway recruiting, and jumpstart orientations when Participant recruiter is unavailable.
Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree and one year of experience or any combination of education and experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling three years.
CareerPassport participant or strong understanding of the program. Professional image.
Understanding of career preparation principles.
Knowledge and experience working in a student/educational environment.
Understanding of students’ challenges.
Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Skills in the use of computers and computer software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, Eventbrite, and Canvas.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to perform a variety of program support duties with little or no supervision.
Ability to prioritize and effectively handle several responsibilities simultaneously.
Ability with attention to detail.
Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 12 Noon or 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
