Full-Time Instructor of German. The University of Alabama seeks a full-time, non-tenure track German instructor to begin August 16, 2016. Three-year contract with the possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding. M.A., ABD, or Ph.D. preferred. Teach German language courses each semester and assist with service duties such as advising, outreach, and other program activities. The successful candidate has experience with German for engineers curriculum development and delivery, Business German, undergraduate and graduate level teaching, study abroad, technology for the classroom, and summer teaching.
