DBA Academic Program Manager will support the Office of Graduate Studies in Business.

Basic Function:

DBA Academic Program Manager will support the Office of Graduate Studies in Business.

Responsibilities include the following:

•Develop, implement and execute processes to interact with Doctoral Students as they proceed through the program including applications, intersessions, and dissertation.

•Recruit, hire and train adjunct faculty to support Graduate Studies in Business DBA program.

•Coordinate scheduling and academic issues with Chairs and Faculty.

•Orientate graduate business students via GSB ORI – Student Orientation course.

•Recruit, hire, train and manage graduate research assistants in the Office of Graduate Studies in Business. Research assistants support graduate research and report directly to DBA Academic Program Manager.

• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvements within the Office of Graduate Studies in Business and direct the implementation of processes while increasing student service and satisfaction.

• Supervise and coordinate all personnel and administrative activities in the assigned office. Perform other duties as assigned by the director.

•Establish and maintain a 2 year program/faculty plan that ensures faculty capacity for graduate program expansion and plan DBA academic calendars including intersession.

•Coordinate and plan intersession events including room and food reservations.

•Maintain DBA subscription services and resources.

•Implement and maintain all DBA course builds in the database and learning management systems.

•Manage and maintain the electronic forms DBA process.

•Undertake other duties as assigned by the Assistant Dean and Assistant Director of Graduate Studies in Business.

•This position reports to the Assistant Director of Graduate Studies in Business

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

Excellent supervisory and customer service skills.

Ability to effectively plan and organize work.

Excellent computer skills including word, excel, PowerPoint, and SPSS.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

Preferred Qualifications:

Doctorate degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
