Position: Finance Department, Lecturer. This is a term, non-tenure-track appointment that is subject to final budget approval. The area of specialization is business law. This position is renewable based on performance, department need and budget availability.
Qualifications: Applicants must hold Juris Doctor and be licensed to practice law in Illinois. College-level teaching experience by the effective date of employment is preferred.
Duties: The selected individual will teach two of the three following undergraduate courses offered by the Department of Finance: The Legal and Social/Environment of Business (FIN 270), Business Law I (FIN 280), and Business Law II (FIN 380) beginning the Fall 2016 semester. No service activity is expected.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Starting Date: August 16, 2016.
