Under the supervision of the Transportation Manager, supports faculty, staff, and department operations by procuring, maintaining, delivering, fabricating, and assembling equipment, props, tools, facility needs, and supplies necessary for the continuation and progression of Emergency Services programs.
Graduation with a high school diploma or GED.
Requires a Class “A” CDL license and a good driving record.
Graduation with a high school diploma or equivalent and three years of experience related to the summary of duties or any combination of education and experience totaling three years.
Knowledge of commercial driving rules and regulations as well as state and federal regulations.
Knowledge of mechanical operations, standard repair procedures and techniques, and hydraulic systems.
Skills in maintenance and repair of large mobile equipment such as semi-trucks, loaders, and firefighting equipment.
Interpersonal, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Skills in written and oral communication.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Ability to acquire and maintain certifications requiring the various duties, including but not exclusive to CDL and forklift operations.
This position is a part-time truck driver position and requires a Class “A” CDL license and a good driving record.
