Reporting to the Director of Employee Benefits, the Analyst provides staff support for the administration of (1) the college’s compensation and employee benefits programs, and of (2) the immigration-related requirements associated with employee recruitment and retention.
This support includes data management and execution/improvement of administrative processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides data and administration support for compensation and benefits planning and compliance processes, including equity review, promotion processes, FLSA classification, job description development/review, executive compensation compliance review, insurance renewals, and insurance census requests.
Collects and analyzes competitive salary and benefit information to determine institution’s market relationship and to inform ongoing program development and compliance.
Administers and audits benefits vendor data exchanges; coordinates related data projects including ongoing process improvement.
Monitors compensation and benefits budgets; reviews and coordinates payment of benefits vendor invoices.
Coordinates FMLA, workers’ compensation, and related leave of absence processing; works to ensure compliance with documentation and posting requirements.
Manages immigration-related processes, including tracking of immigration status, database maintenance and reporting. Facilitates visa application process, acting as intermediary and liaison between outside counsel, employees, and departments. Works to ensure compliance with documentation and posting requirements.
Assist in communicating compensation and benefits policies and programs at meetings; by preparing written and graphic announcements and explanations; and by responding to inquiries.
Participates as the team member in HR-wide strategic projects and initiatives.

Bachelors degree required.
3–5 years of compensation and/or employee benefits administration experience.
Demonstrated working knowledge of compensation and/or employee benefits related laws, regulations, and administrative best-practices.
Compensation and/or employee benefits related professional credentials.
