Detailed Job Description

The Clinic Director oversees daily operations of the Speech and Hearing Center and ensures that all provided speech and hearing services adhere to American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines and regulations. Key duties include: coordinating contractual agreements with off campus internship sites; maintenance of standard operating procedures; implementation of billing practices (requires knowledge of CPT and ICD codes); and supervision of Speech and Hearing Clinic staff. The Clinic Director will also teach one class in the fall and spring semesters.


The applicant must have at least ten years of post-master’s clinical experience. Managerial experience and knowledge of ASHA requirements, HIPPA regulations, and ICD and CPT codes is preferred. Candidates should have an M.S., M.A., SLPD, CScD, or Ph.D. in Speech Language Pathology to apply.
