Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in a directly related field of study or a combination of education and experience totaling four years.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one year of experience in human resources, equal opportunity, title IX, Clery, SaVE, VAWA,Title VII of the Civil Rights of 1964, Title II of the ADA, and other similar EEO laws, or a closely related field. Experience in an academic setting in employee and student conduct, sexual harassment, or misconduct areas. Prior experience with public entity or State of Utah investigation procedure. Conflict resolution/mediation. Experience providing training to employees also helpful.
Ability to work a flexible shift when needed.
Knowledge of and experience in computers and computer software applications.
Knowledge and complete understanding of conflict resolution basics.
Knowledge in research (including legal research)
Knowledge in Title IX, Clery, SaVE, VAWA,Title VII of the Civil Rights of 1964, Title II of the ADA, and other similar EEO laws.
Knowledge and familiarity with FERPA and HIPAA regulation.
Skills in the use of computers and computer software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, databases.
Skills in office methods, techniques, practices, and procedures.
