Reporting to the Director of Talent Management, the Sr. Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HR BP) serves as Human Resources main support and contact to assigned client groups, partnering with managers and staff to timely address a variety of workplace issues in a way that provides tangible value to the unit. The Sr. HR BP demonstrates a solid understanding of the operations and needs of the client units as well as the needs and challenges of managers and staff. The Sr. HR BP builds strong relationships and develops credibility with divisional leaders, managers and staff members throughout assigned units so that employees at all levels of assigned units feel comfortable seeking advice and following recommended courses of action.
Bachelor’s degree plus 5-7 years of professional experience in a multi-discipline Human Resources environment. Must possess advanced communication, interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills. Sensitivity to employment and employee relations needs and the ability to balance both.
Master’s degree in a related field preferred. Higher education experience strongly preferred. Experience supporting an IT group highly desirable.
