Organizes the Learn/Engage/ Acquire/Discover (LEAD) mentoring program known as Women Helping Women which includes training, recruitment, appreciation, relationship maintenance, etc. Assists the Sr. Director in maintaining and improving this cutting edge student leadership development program. The qualified applicant will be able to handle a variety of administrative, fiscal, and event planning assignments as part of the program administration.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree and two years experience related to the Summary of Duties or any combination of education and experience totaling six years.
Two years experience with the Center for Advancement of Leadership (CAL)
Knowledge of Center for Advancement of Leadership (CAL).
Knowledge of The Women’s Success Center.
Knowledge of First Year Experience,
Knowledge of retention and graduation rates/concerns,
Knowledge of basic marketing principles, including creating and facilitating campaigns.
Knowledge of Effective use of social media for both marketing and employer relations.
Skills with computer software (Microsoft Office) and other office software as applied to management of student records, report preparation, and related activities.
Skills in other multimedia software such as Canvas and Adobe Creative Cloud a plus.
Skills in Social Media, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram a plus.
Excellent writing and composition skills.
Well-developed interpersonal communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization skills.
Skills in creativity, innovation and detail orientation.
Ability to connect with traditional students.
Ability to solve problems and interact effectively with students, and administrators to promote positive results.
Ability to coordinate with the Women’s Success Center and the Center for Advancement of Leadership Center.
Ability to be self-directed and to complete tasks without supervision.
Ability to determine program outcomes and assessment measures to ensure quality of program.
Ability to analyze and solve problems.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize and complete tasks expeditiously.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing, additionally to follow written and oral procedures and instructions.
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and/or projections.
