The School of Health Sciences is accepting applications for a part-time instructor faculty of Physical Therapy with preferred expertise in neurology and/or geriatrics. The individual will be required to fulfill the following essential functions and responsibilities:
Teach courses as assigned by chair/director or dean.
Advise students as assigned by chair/director or dean.
Participate in Division, School, and College activities as appropriate.
Participate in professional development activities related to one's faculty role.
Other duties as assigned by chair/director or dean.
Strong commitment to high quality instruction in a diverse, student-centered environment and the ability to work with students with various learning styles and backgrounds.
Interest in active and collaborative learning and enthusiasm for working in an interprofessional setting.
Ability to foster a collaborative atmosphere among students, faculty, and staff.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Blackboard, and the use of instructional technology to teach traditional, hybrid or online courses as needed and serve as a resource for faculty using these tools.

Entry level degree in physical therapy is required.
Doctorate in physical therapy or related field; Advanced degree in physical therapy, education or related field is preferred.
Required Field of Expertise: 1-2 years teaching experience in a college or university setting.
Preferred Field of Expertise: Neurology and/or geriatrics.
Preferred Training/Cert: APTA Board Certified Neurology Clinical Specialist or Geriatric Clinical Specialist.
Required Licensure(s): Licensed or eligible to be licensed as a licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Massachusetts.
