Detailed Job Description

Requires graduate level research knowledge and skills, such as reviewing and analyzing scholarly literature, data collection, qualitative data analysis, specified information-gathering for projects and tasks, and synthesizing literature and data in writing. Performs a combination of clerical tasks such as maintaining records; receiving, preparing, or verifying documents; searching for and compiling information and/or data; developing and updating spreadsheets, and responding to routine requests with standard answers (by phone, in person, or by correspondence).

Minimum Qualifications

Currently enrolled or accepted at an accredited institution in a masters or doctorate program directly related to the summary of duties; relevant coursework to be determined by the hiring department.

Preferred Qualifications

Currently enrolled or accepted at an accredited institution in a masters or doctorate program directly related to the summary of duties; relevant coursework to be determined by the hiring department. Applicants can also be graduates of an advanced degree. Applicants can also demonstrate graduate level experience and research skills even if not in a graduate program.

Knowledge

Intermediate level knowledge of computers and computer software applications including Word applications, Excel spreadsheets, databases, e-mail, internet, and presentations.

Skills

Skills in the preparation and interpretation of reports, charts, graphs, and tables.

Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision making skills.

Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Skills in prioritizing and following projects through to successful completion.

Skills in composing and editing written materials.

Abilities

Pay Range

$12.34 - $15.42 per hour
