Position: Assistant Professor of Science Education, preK-12 (Tenure Track)

Minimum Qualifications:
• Earned doctorate in Science Education, Elementary Education (with emphasis on elementary science education), Secondary Science Education, or Curriculum & Instruction (with emphasis in Science Education)
• Minimum 2 years full-time classroom teaching experience at the preK-12 level
• Demonstrated ability to pursue a research agenda with potential for external funding in preK-12 science education
• Ability to teach courses in elementary and secondary science education
• Ability to teach courses in general elementary or secondary education, curriculum and instruction
• Ability to integrate technology into instruction including web-assisted and other alternative delivery models
• Ability to teach with a multicultural perspective

Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to integrate inclusion concepts into instruction
• Experience with ESL populations
• Experience working in collaborative settings

Responsibilities:
