Under general direction, supports academic intervention programs for medical students, residents, and faculty; provides individualized student outreach to students who are identified at risk; connects students to relevant campus resources; provides academic coaching and support for students on an ongoing basis; monitors and tracks progress of students; maintains communication with faculty and staff in support of students

Experience conducting educational workshops and seminars with both large audiences and small groups
Master’s degree, supplemented with one to three (1-3) years related experience. Degree with a specialty in Education or Psychology preferred.
Assesses student learning styles in order to prescribe individual academic work plans; assesses, identifies, and resolves academic deficiencies to enhance or remediate academic performance issues
Provides learning skills assessments and education to students; provides training for students in general areas of instructions including study and test-taking skills, time management, knowledge organization, and reading efficiency
Attends meetings, seminars, and trainings to develop faculty and staff understanding of board examinations and student success rates; serves on University committees in order to assist in the development of study skill integration into course curriculum
Assists with the development and management of licensure exam preparation programs; provides in service examinations and learning styles inventories to graduate medical education students to increase performance for United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) and board preparation
Manages clinical advisor program to support faculty (80-100); provides training, testing, and counseling for faculty who serve as advisors for M3/M4 students
Serves as a member of the overall student development team; performs other duties as assigned.
