Detailed Job Description

The Coordinator Residence Life, working under the mission and vision of Residential Communities, will work cooperatively with the Residential Communities staff (Area Coordinators, GCDs, RAs, DAs) to develop, implement, and assess a comprehensive programming and leadership plan for students living in Residential Communities.

Additional Department Summary:

Provides coordination and administrative support for student activities related to outcomes/assessments within Housing and Residential Communities (HRC). Assists in creating a culture of evidence and improvement within HRC and the division of Student Affairs in support of student development, learning, and engagement.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of relevant experience, or Master's degree. Experience may include supervisory experience, customer service, advising, delegation, communication, management, creativity, creative problem solving and/or general knowledge/willingness to implement programs and initiatives that involves using student development theory. Student or Graduate Assistant, Intern, or student oriented experience will be considered. To be considered student experience, it must be detailed in the employment section on the application.

Skills and Knowledge:

Excellent writing, communication, and organization skills. Ability to work effectively with multiple constituencies. Ability to master software and applications quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree or completing Master's degree in higher education, statistics, business, or other relevant field. Work experience with designing, implementing, and analyzing surveys and survey results. Experience in learning outcomes and program evaluation. 57 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 32614.44 Midpoint - $ 47299.20
