Visiting Assistant Professor in Chemistry

Appointment: The Chemistry department at the University of Puget Sound invites applications for a two (2) year Visiting Assistant Professor to begin Fall term 2016.

Responsibilities: Teaching duties include lectures and laboratories for General Chemistry during the first year. In the second year there is also the possibility of teaching organic or analytical chemistry courses, depending upon the area of specialization of the successful candidate. Supervision of undergraduate research is encouraged.

Qualifications: Candidates must have a PhD by the start of appointment and a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates.

Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
