Under the direction of the Dean for School of Health Sciences, the Learning Resource Coordinator for Nursing will be responsible for the following:
Collaborate with Director, Associate Director and course/program coordinators to maintain clinical agreements with affiliating clinical agencies.
Collaborate with Director and faculty to identify future developments in health care systems that will impact clinical, simulations and learning laboratory experiences.
Collaborate with course coordinators and learning lab coordinator in developing course content and related laboratory and simulation needs.
Schedule clinical experiences with affiliating clinical agencies.
Maintain Centralized Clinical Placement Grid (CCP) and represent college at all CCP meetings or communications.
Maintain learning lab resources: monitor inventory, safely store hazardous materials, coordinate repairs of equipment as needed, order supplies.
Assist with annual review and evaluation of all clinical sites and program evaluation across all programs related to clinical experiences.
Serve on division of nursing committees as assigned by director.
Coordinate activities in learning resource lab.
Conduct tours and simulation sessions for internal and external groups and/or individuals visiting the campus.
Establish and monitor procedures for use of simulation equipment and conducting simulation experiences.
Strong commitment to high quality instruction in a diverse, student-centered environment and the ability to work with students with various learning styles and backgrounds.
Interest in active and collaborative learning and enthusiasm for working in an interprofessional setting.
Ability to foster a collaborative atmosphere among students, faculty, and staff.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite; experience with health care equipment and technology, experience with or willingness to learn use of educational technology.

Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
Master's degree in nursing is preferred.
Required Field of Expertise: At least 3 years of professional practice experience as a registered nurse.
