The Department of Chemistry at Bates College, a private, highly selective liberal arts college in Maine, invites applications for a one-year, full-time visiting assistant professor of chemistry beginning August 1, 2016. Teaching responsibilities include two 200-level analytical chemistry courses, participation in the second-semester introductory chemistry course, and participation in an advanced measurement laboratory course. The opportunity exists to mentor undergraduate research projects, but this is not required.
