Position: Researcher I: Universities Council On Water Resources. Two variable time professional Researcher I positions assisting a professional water resources organization with technical journal editing and conference planning activities, and the Department of Forestry with water quality and soil laboratory work. These are 12 month positions and could be extended dependent upon funding availability and workload needs.
Responsibilities: Editing of manuscripts for the Journal of Contemporary Water Research and Education. Layout of journal articles in InDesign. Assisting with annual conference planning activities. Assisting with tasks in a water quality and soils laboratory.
Required Qualifications: 1) B.S./B.A. degree; 2) technical editing experience.
Preferred Qualifications: 1) experience in conference planning; 2) working knowledge of InDesign software; 3) experience in a laboratory setting.
Effective Date: As soon as possible
Salary: Commensurate with degree and professional experience.
Appointment: Variable time, term.
