Under administrative direction, provides assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of EHR application training for new and/or existing employees; enforces training requirements; maintains curriculum content and delivery methods; coordinates training materials and environment build; evaluates process improvement and application enhancement/optimization initiatives; maintains policy and procedure documentation; performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of management information systems, data structures, and application software

Bachelor’s degree; supplemented with three (3) years of related work experience. Certification in associated Epic Applications is required.
Provides advanced end-user training; identifies clinical training needs and curriculum content; maintains the type of curriculum delivery; surveys departments to aid in curriculum development; performs onsite visits to assess competency; ensures all users are properly trained prior to gaining access to the production environment.
Assesses end-user training needs to develop training approach and documentation to present educational classes for EHR system job functions and other areas for clinical departments and medical records personnel; develops and maintains departmental policies and procedures.
Evaluates and recommends process improvements to EHR system; serves as liaison between departments and software vendors for training initiatives; implements training refreshes for upgrades and development projects.
Participates in planning, selection, installation and communication of changes to electronic health records system; maintains training program, schedule, materials, aids and environment build; maintains policy and procedure documentation.
Performs other duties as assigned.
