Under general supervision, provides administrative and clinical clerical support for the Trauma division; staff supervision, faculty and CStar support; is responsible for typing, editing, proofing, of correspondence and memos; coordinates travel arrangements; maintains calendars; duplicates and distributes materials.

Minimum Qualifications

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Maintains physicians credentials at SLU as well as other institutions. Maintains files on each physician and keeps up to date on licensures and certification (e.g. Mo license, BNDD, DEA etc). This is performed for all Trauma providers (faculty, mid levels, CStar and CStar floaters). This amounts to at least 14 providers.

Answers and returns telephone calls; enters and routes calls and information into EPIC; gathers and prepares call schedules (Trauma/ICU/Backup and Floor); completes monthly service forms, CME paperwork for meetings; provides administrative support for Trauma faculty and CStars with daily duties, maintains calendars and meeting schedules.

Monitors expenditures to keep within budget; prepares purchase requisitions; coordinates and monitors maintenance services; purchases supplies, DPVs, POs, IDOs and Amex

Coordinates and performs clerical services; makes arrangements for events and meetings; assists with payrol; composes and types correspondence; makes travel arrangements

Schedules OR cases, obtains precertification and updates information in EPIC

Performs other duties as assigned.
