Under administrative direction, evaluates, interviews and examines patients; administers anesthesia to patients; monitors patients; prepares anesthetic drugs; maintains anesthesia equipment.
Knowledge of anesthesia equipment.
Knowledge of medical technology.
Ability to learn and apply institutional policies and procedures.

Master’s degree; supplemented with one(1) year of related experience. Must be licensed as an Anesthesiologist Assistant.
Evaluates, interviews, and examines patients; assesses data; selects appropriate anesthetics.
Administers anesthetics in accordance with clinical privileges delineated with conditions or restrictions; utilizes appropriate monitors during administration of anesthetic agents; performs non-surgical procedures.
Monitors post-operative patients.
Prepares anesthetic drugs; maintains anesthesia equipment to ensure safe operating condition.
Maintains accounting of controlled substances; performs other duties as assigned.
