The Community Engagement Specialist builds and maintains relationships with external constituents in the community. Serves as a liaison for the Tri-Cities campus including representing the campus in community engagement events, attending functions to assist in the development of relationships, and implement outreach and advocacy plans to community stakeholders.
This position will promote a culture of service learning through various activities as directed by campus leadership. Will be the lead person for campus “Cougs in the Community” efforts.
A Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Specialty Area: Community engagement, public affairs, public relations and/or other relevant experience.
