Responsibilities include some combination of classroom instruction, clinical supervision, supervising student research, involvement in faculty governance, and developing other professional areas of interest including scholarship/research, community service, and/or clinical practice through our training clinic. All areas of specialization will be considered, but candidates with expertise in primary care psychology, biopsychology, and/or cognitive neuroscience are especially encouraged to apply.Experience teaching in at least two of the following areas strongly preferred: Health Psychology, Cognitive & Affective Bases of Behavior, Biopsychology, Psychopharmacology, Psychological Assessment, Evidence-based Psychotherapies, Statistics, Research Design, or Psychometrics.
Required qualifications include a doctoral degree in psychology from an APA-accredited program, eligibility for doctoral licensure in Missouri (for those engaging in clinical supervision and/or practice), and appropriate preparation for and commitment to excellence in teaching and clinical training. Preferred qualifications include evidence of excellence in teaching at the graduate level and relevant documented research experience or post-doctoral training in the specialty area. Faculty rank is dependent upon qualifications.
