Student Health Services (SHS) at SIU Carbondale is seeking applications for Assistant Director, Student Health Services position. This position is directly responsible for the administration of the Student Insurance plan, Quality Assurance and Accreditation program, Human Resources, Patient Billing, Accounting, Records and Registration and Information Technology departments of Student Health Services. It assumes operational responsibility of Student Health Services in the absence of the Director. It serves as Fiscal Officer Delegate for all Student Health Services and Student Health Service Foundation accounts, and prepares future budget projections and fee revenues as requested by the Director. This is a 12-month, full-time appointment. Compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package and salary commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications: Masters Degree in Healthcare Management, Public Administration, Business Administration or related field plus 5 years of work experience in administrative and supervisory roles within a healthcare field.
Preferred Qualifications: University or Community college administrative experience.
