Responsibilities include tutoring students enrolled in Spanish courses by helping solve problems, offering support, and suggesting study tips and strategies. Assists students in the computer lab with programs and general computer assistance.
High School Diploma or GED required
Prefer student Majoring in Spanish or going into a field where which utilizes Spanish.
Proficient knowledge required in Spanish.
Must have taken an advanced level grammar class (SPAN 3050) or willing to take an advanced level grammar test.
Must have basic computer skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, cultures, and ethnic backgrounds to maintain a good working relationship.
Advanced level of oral skills in Spanish.
Able to teach correct grammar principles in Spanish.
Able to teach pronunciation skills.
