The position will report to the Coordinator of the Automotive Program.
Responsible to teach classes in the areas of automatic transmissions and transaxles, electrical systems, fuel systems, suspension, brakes, air conditioning and engines. Position may teach both dual credit and post-secondary students including students in the T-TEN (Toyota Motors)and American Honda programs. Duties will include working with local industry to provide training; conducting regular shop visits with local repair facilities, assisting with student recruitment; participating in college committees including volunteer activities, SkillsUSA activities including travel to events, and other automotive student clubs. Position will also maintain office hours and advise students within the program. Evening and day classes to be expected.
