Detailed Job Description

American International College is accepting applications for three Exam Proctors. Under the direction of the Disability Services Coordinator, the Exam Proctor will be responsible for monitoring students while taking exams; reading exams to students, following professor exam instructions and asks appropriate clarifying questions; following policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and discretion. Picking and returning exams to the office.


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Bachelor's degree is required.

  • Bachelor's in Education/Special Education is preferred.

  • Special Education is preferred.

  • Prior work with students and/or in the disabilities field.

  • Ability to start at 7:30 am if necessary.

  • Consistently on time.

  • Flexibility in work schedule.
