The Director for AIC's Assessment, Learning and Behavior Support Center (formerly known as the Curtis Blake Center) reports to the Dean, School of Education. The director is an essential member of the Dean's advisory Council.
Responsible for the strategic plan, day-to-day operations, and oversight of staff activities and resources for the center.
Ensures daily operations of unit are in keeping with the overall policies of each unit and regulatory agencies.
Provides leadership and direction as regards to the efficient, cost-effective utilization of resources.
Responsible for assisting the staff in planning services for the university and Commonwealth area.
Supervise five staff persons (e.g. SLP, Psychologist, etc.)
Must have an entrepreneur mind-set and have excellent intelligence with a willingness to take ownership in this work. Development, communication, and implementation of operational improvements and efficiencies.

Doctoral Degree in Psychology or related field.
Strong commitment to high-quality instruction in a diverse, student-centered environment and the ability to work with students with various learning styles and backgrounds.
Interest in active and collaborative learning and enthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary environment.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Blackboard, and the instructional use of technology to teach traditional, hybrid or on-line courses, as needed.
Ability to foster a collaborative atmosphere among students and faculty.
Expertise that complements and expands that of the department.
