Sets up and takes down for UCCU Center events. Setup of bleachers, chairs, tables, athletic equipment, and stages. Operates light and heavy equipment including trucks and lift trucks. Assists in equipment maintenance and repairs.
High school diploma or GED plus one year of experience related to summary of duties.
1 year of experience specifically in event industry is preferred.
Knowledge of events and concerts.
Knowledge in OSHA rules and regulations.
Knowledge in public safety.
Skills in basic repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
Skills in organization and planning.
Skills in working well with others.
Skills in working in a diverse environment.
Ability to expend arduous physical effort.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast pace environment.
Ability to operate light trucks and lift trucks, boom lifts and heavy duty mechanical equipment.
Ability to do basic mechanical repairs.
