Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service, is seeking a pediatric pathologist to join the Department of Pathology as Division Director of Pediatric Pathology. Responsibilities include providing senior strategic direction for the division, and performing medical director duties and diagnostic anatomic pediatric pathology at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center. An interest in a subspecialty in pediatric pathology or an area of the clinical laboratory is desirable, especially molecular pathology and/or informatics. Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows is an important component of the position.
Minimum qualifications include either an M.D. or D.O. degree (or equivalent). Candidates should be board-certified in AP/CP and pediatric pathology and should have achieved the rank of Professor or Associate Professor, with 5 years’ leadership experience.
