The purpose of the position is to coordinate WSU Vancouver’s annual giving program. Duties include: Coordinating annual fundraising plans including both direct mail and telemarketing campaigns, annual fundraising of gifts of $25,000 and under.
This position will focus on scholarship solicitations and upgrades by incorporating annual support, endowments and planned gifts in the annual giving plan. This position functions as the University/Foundation liaison with the central foundation annual giving staff and the WSU Alumni Association and performs a variety of fundraising and alumni engagement activities.
This position assists with alumni engagement activities and outreach programs for the SW Washington region.

A Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience, which includes six (6) months of full-time experience in marketing, gift solicitation or public contact work with evidence of ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively orally and in writing and organize and execute assignments. A Master’s degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of the required experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience in writing proposals.
Experience with managing multiple projects and setting priorities.
Experience with alumni/donor database applications.
Demonstrated experience with donor prospect management systems.
