Saint Louis University School of Medicine, a Catholic Jesuit institution dedicated to education, research, service and healthcare, has initiated a national search for the next Donald and Marlene Jerome Endowed Chair & Professor, Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. The successful applicant will be a distinguished academic physician willing to provide strategic leadership in programmatic, education and research development. Minimum qualifications are board certification in otolaryngology, a distinguished record of clinical excellence, research productivity and skill in managing a clinical practice in a managed care environment. We are seeking a Chair who has strong leadership skills in an academic setting and experience in research administration and program development. The Chair will be responsible for research development and growth, balancing clinical activities, overseeing quality initiative and developing services. The department has a 16-member faculty, including generalists and sub-specialists, who are trained to provide comprehensive care encompassing disorders of the head and neck.
