The Quinnipiac University Department of Sociology has extended its search for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Criminal Justice with an expertise in the area of white collar crime.
The appointees will join a growing department that currently offers undergraduate majors in Sociology, Social Services, Gerontology, and Criminal Justice and a minor in Anthropology.
Candidates should be prepared to teach courses in White Collar Crime and Criminal Justice Research Methods.
Applicants will also be expected to teach courses in the University core curriculum and the sociology curriculum and to maintain an active research agenda in their substantive area. Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research is required. The teaching load is 3/3.
Applicants for the position must possess a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice or a Ph.D. in Sociology with a Criminal Justice specialization at the time of appointment.
