Under the direction of the Senior Director for the Women’s Success Center, the Assistant Director will assist in directing the department with specific focus on scholarship administration, data management, and supervision of full-time staff.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in a directly related field and two years experience related to the Summary of Duties or a combination of education and/or experience totaling six years.
Master’s degree preferred.
Knowledge of current research regarding women’s issues in higher education.
Knowledge of best practices related to female student recruitment and persistence.
Skills in leadership and employee development.
Skills in written and verbal communication.
Skills in bookkeeping and budget management.
Ability to foster and build cooperative work environments.
Ability to operate with maturity, professional demeanor, tact and diplomacy.
Ability to prioritize and to change priorities as needs arise.
Ability to work in an office environment with minimum supervision.
Ability to collaborate with and relate to a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff.
