Job Responsibilities

Coordinates and provides oversight for the College’s Academic Quality Improvement Program which is its North Central Association accreditation process.

Serves as primary liaison with state and federal educational agencies, as well as accrediting bodies, regarding required reporting and evaluation processes.

Provides leadership for the Office of Evidence & Inquiry.

Works closely with all of the College’s units, both credit and non-credit.

Provides leadership and supervision for the development, preparation and dissemination of data and institutional research, working with the academic and student affairs staff to effectively communicate the results of institutional research and encourage the use of data and evidence in ways that enhance teaching and learning at the college.

Works closely with the ITS department to ensure the integrity of the college’s data and promotes ease of access to information by the college’s faculty and staff.

Develops appropriate performance indicators and collects appropriate data for the College’s annual report.

Provides support in the development and implementation of projects utilizing business intelligence software.

Coordinates internal function related to environmental scanning, instructional program review, research review and unit-level assessment.

Serves as a member of the College’s “Achieving the Dream” leadership team, which is seeking to build a “culture of evidence” at the college with the aim of increasing academic achievement by all students.

Serves as the administrative coordinator of the College’s Institutional Planning and Effectiveness Governance Committee.

Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree and/or ten years of experience in the area of organizational effectiveness and planning in a higher education environment

Experience with research methodology, statistical methods, data collection, analysis and interpretation related to trends in higher education


Demonstrated understanding of outcomes assessment in higher education

Demonstrated leadership skills

A strong working knowledge of Banner software or similar student information software

An understanding of higher education accrediting processes

Demonstrated communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across all segments of the institution

Preferred Qualifications


Master’s degree

Strong experience working with accrediting bodies

Work Schedule

Standard College hours of operation, Monday through Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.
