Visiting Assistant Professor in Sociology and Anthropology

Appointment: Full-time, two-year (contingent upon first-year review) visiting assistant professor position in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology; begins fall term 2016.


Sociologist with expertise in the study of Race and Ethnicity, with a preference for candidates using a global/comparative approach. Demonstrated teaching experience in Race & Ethnic Relations and Introduction to Sociology is preferred. Teaching load is 3:3.


Ph.D in Sociology. We seek a candidate with a commitment to undergraduate teaching and liberal arts education.
