Detailed Job Description

The Assistant Director, Bryant Conference Center is responsible for the management of one or more functional units within the Bryant Conference Center.

Additional Department Summary:

The Assistant Director leads a group of conference managers and customer service specialists at the Bryant Conference Center and develops the policies and procedures governing conference and event services. The Assistant Director ensures efficient delivery of conference services and an exemplary customer experience. This position also recommends operations strategy to the Associate Dean after measuring and assessing financial and performance metrics of the customer experience. In addition to leading a team that delivers conference services, this position acts as a liaison to supporting groups like the CCS marketing team and to stakeholders like UA faculty and staff. The Assistant Director partners with the Associate Director for Facilities Management to integrate conference services operations with facilities operations.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of experience; OR Master's degree and a minimum of one year of experience.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:

Valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable motor vehicle report as determined by the insurance carrier.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in hospitality and event management, business, or similar topics and a minimum of two (2) years or related experience. 58 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 37835.16 Midpoint - $ 54870.36
