Detailed Job Description

Responsible for developing and administering a comprehensive offering of student support services for individuals participating in academic programs facilitated through Academic Outreach including admissions, orientation services, recruitment, retention, counseling, financial aid & scholarships, and honors programs for the Division of Academic Outreach. Responsible for coordinating services with divisional Program Management Teams and supervising professional and clerical staff working with student services.

Additional Department Summary:

The UA Early College Program Manager will have the primary responsibility for managing program recruiting efforts for UA Early College. Efforts include, but are not limited to, research, development and implementation of strategies tailored to high school students and their parents, branding of UA Early College, and analysis of activities. The Program Manager is responsible for customer relations management tools, various technologies, program/marketing analytics, and other computer management tools.

Required Minimum Qualifications

A minimum of a master's degree in education, business, arts & sciences, counseling, or other relevant field of study with four years work experience in student services in higher education or other related field; excellent oral and written communication skills, basic desktop computing skills (e.g. windows, Excel, etc.), a university background, the ability to work with different cultures and groups of people, general supervisory experience.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:

Willing to lead/teach an introductory orientation online class and represent UA Early College, as needed, at public events. Willing to work some nights and some weekends and travel occasionally to recruitment events. Valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable motor vehicle report as determined by the insurance carrier.

Preferred Qualifications:

A minimum of a master's degree, preferably in marketing, computer science, business management, and/or related field. A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in marketing/advertising, software functions, and/or enrollment management. Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to supervise staff. 59 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 43887.96 Midpoint - $ 63648.00
