This position is responsible for independently developing and implementing the delivery of non-academic social, cultural and educational events to a diverse audience.
Coordinates, schedules, negotiates, and monitors program delivery logistics in the most efficient, cost-effective and professional manner possible. Development and implementation of programs requires administrative and organizational skills and knowledge related to marketing, financial management, computer competency, and human relations.
Supervise employees to meet deadlines and provide exemplary service to clients, students, faculty, and Global Campus leadership.
Independently create and sustain meaningful relationships with clients, faculty, internal staff members, and internal Global Campus staff in order to produce programs which meet the highest standards and fulfill the mission of the Global Campus Connections initiative.
This position will require innovation, vision, initiative, self-direction, excellent networking and time-management skills, and a collaborative work ethic to meet demanding timelines and project related deliveries in a high-profile environment.
A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications or related field and three (3) years of professional level experience in marketing, promotional or related work. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Master’s degree in a related field.
Experience working with distance students and instructors teaching in the distance learning environment.
Experience with a variety of technology tools.
Experience with virtual event planning and delivery.
Personnel management experience.
Demonstrated ability to make and maintain excellent professional connections and collaborations.
