The Department of Political Science at Miami University is searching for a colleague in American Political Parties / Political Behavior for an appointment as a tenure track Assistant Professor. The position will begin in the 2016-2017 academic year.
Assistant Professor with teaching and research expertise in American political parties, money and politics, and political behavior who will develop a record of excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching; conduct relevant research leading to a record of published scholarship; provide institutional and professional service; contribute to the undergraduate and MA program.
PhD by date of appointment in Political Science or a related field.
Strong candidates will have the ability to teach introductory course in American politics as well as other courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the area of expertise, and an undergraduate and MA course in quantitative research methods.
