The Department of Pharmacological and Physiological Science in the School of Medicine is seeking applicants for post-doctoral fellowship positions in the field of medicinal chemistry. The drug discovery project involves the design and synthesis of novel small molecules which can act as either agonists or antagonists of therapeutically relevant nuclear receptor targets: Experience in one or more of the following areas are required: organic chemistry, chemical synthesis, drug discovery, spectroscopic characterization, analytical instrumentation, in silico design tools and knowledge of pharmacokinetics. Applicants should have a Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant field (Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, etc.) and from 0 to 5 years of post-doctoral experience.
